Winds have already switched light onshore at report time. Current water temp: 72°. The long range forecast is calling for small scale surf into next week. We'll keep you posted at first sign of change. The good news is that we are still a few days from the official start of Hurricane season and we already have our first Tropical Depression. FRI PM: I'm just going to go ahead and apologize in advance and claim this afternoon report as the "Friday Afternoon Bikini Report". As you can see, it's a really nice beach day out there... but we only have small knee high background lines in the water. There still may be an occasional thigh high set every 20mins or so... but overall it's looking pretty weak. The wind is still light offshore at report time, but should be switching onshore in the next hour or so as things heat up. The long range forecast is calling for small scale surf into next week. We'll keep you posted at first sign of change. The good news is that we are still 3 days from the official start of Hurricane season and we already have our first Tropical Depression. It doesn't look like this one will give us any ridable surf but it's a good sign for an active hurricane season... stay tuned.
