JACKSONVILLE BEACH SURF REPORT: Small, lazy ESE windswell in the water this Thursday morning. We already have a 5-10mph ESE wind on it creating semi-choppy conditions. May push a longboard on the sets.. but nothing much over the knee+ range. We will hopefully start to see a little more ESE windswell over the next few days. Check back to stay on top of it.

JACKSONVILLE BEACH SURF REPORT: We have some higher tide, lazy longboard lines rolling in this afternoon. Very mushy and only looks remotely do-able on a longboard or barge. Nice and warm out... just not a whole lot going on in the way of surf.

JACKSONVILLE BEACH SURF REPORT: Similar size and conditions as yesterday morning. Looks about knee to occasional thigh high with irregular form. Looks like it could be longboardable on the sets.. just not looks too attractive form wise. Hopefully we'll see some slight improvement with the afternoon incoming tide push. Check back!

JACKSONVILLE BEACH SURF REPORT: Not really happening out there this afternoon at the pier. Kind of strange, it looks like there's a good size swell in the water... but nothing really breaks over the thigh high range... with poor wobbly conditions. I'm not sure how much more size we are going to get out of this one. Hopefully I'll be wrong so keep your eyes on the ocean later this afternoon.

JACKSONVILLE BEACH SURF REPORT: A little more swell in the water this morning. At report time, we have a dropping tide with a side/off shore wind out of the N/NW... so not really the best conditions for the pier. We should see more NE swell fill in thoughout the incoming tide (H 3:23pm). But, right now we are seeing only thigh high on the bigger sets. Some forecast models are calling it up to head high by dark so we'll have to see what happens. Check back for that afternoon update!

Approaching high tide and showing a little improvement. A thigh/waist high wedge forming up just south of the pier. Real Racy with little tube sections.. Alot of close outs.. Small but ok fun if you are into it. Looking pretty small up and down the beach. We should see significant swell start to fill in for tomorrow bringing us back into the fun range. Check back for that.

The surf is looking a little smaller again with some knee to occasional thigh high surf. Already a good S almost SW on it. Longboardable, but nothing great. Possibly a little more swell in the water starting tomorrow. Check back for the afternoon update!

It looks like it has dropped off a little in size since yesterday. Looks about waist high clean with lines coming though. I would expect to see a few larger sets with the midday incoming tide push.. if we're lucky. Overall it should be another hot and sunny day with some ridable surf. Opening of the Beaches festival and parade going on today too so expect the crowd and limited parking if your headed to the pier.
