A bit more SSW swell is mixing in with a dominate WNW swell combo this morning. K-W high waves are the norm BUT some C high sets can be found at the best of the combo areas at times. Tide swings are not as extreme as they have been but they are still having an affect on both the size and shape of the surf at all areas today.

Meet Dan Malloy this Saturday, May 3rd, from 11AM – 3PM at the Patagonia Surf Shop in Cardiff by the Sea. He will be there to unveil his new signature surfboard model: the DM3. After two years of R&D with shaper Fletcher Chouinard, Dan came up with what he calls "The best all-around shortboard I've ever had." Using Patagonia Surfboard Technology, and equiped with Future Fins, the DM3 is a contemporary shortboard made for all around conditions. See you there.

A stronger swell combo of SW/WNW directions is showing this morning. K-W high waves are common with some W-C+ set showing on occassion at the BEST of the combo areas. Tide swings from low to high will have an affect on the size and shape of the surf at all areas.
