The Hangover Cure

We made an honest attempt at surfing today really! The wind has turned back offshore but, the swell is neither here nor there. I'm claiming that today was the almost the most gutless Santana I have ever seen! Although, thats probably for the best seeing as though we could have all legally blown a D.U.I. at 3PM!

The Freaky Tiki goes off!!!

The winds are back offshore! Unfortunately we all partied down super hard last night...the grand opening of the "Freaky Tiki!!!!" We are super stoked that high tide is not early this morning! All that are awake now are hurting bad and as for the others...we'll see!>>!>!!???!!!

Mike from Maryland claimimg the "rare onshore day," and its true!!! Unusually light onshores since yesterday afternoon has Team Sanctuary in full project mode. The Explorador is fully prepped and ready for paint. The all new "Freaky Tiki," bar is up and ready fot it's grand opening party/Jeff's (from Safari Charters) 30th Birthday on Saturady night!!!!

As most of y'all know the Explorador is in the yard(literally). We have taken it upon our selves to completely re-wire the entire electrical system in the Explorador. Tony, Roberto and I have been putting in some serious hours to make sure she is battle ready for the upcoming season! Among the latest addtions also are...

Special Thanks to Joyce, store manager at west marine #32 in Ft. Lauderdale...she helped us get a bunch of electronic parts at the very last minute. Excellent customer service and a great experience, thanks Joyce!

We pulled every last piece of electric out of the boat and are doing a complete re-wire....

As you can see, it's quite the project. Next project...a frersh paint job!

Okay, Andrew and Melqui aka "Señor Suave," here for the report. Glad to say it was really fun this AM even with a long wait in between sets. Melqui agrees and adds that "the water is like the antartic out there bro! Don't forgot your topper- for sure!"

Alright, we're back up and online...no power yesterday meant no surf report :(

We got you covered- our loyal surf reoprt followers, checking the updates day in and day out. Now thats the hard part. Team Santuary, we have the easy end of the deal...just paddle out and get barelled! (But really, we rely on Donald's talent to make us all look like better surfers than we are....it's working too!!!)

Getting the curl, and making other "spongers," feel like half a man.

Hats off to this guy. To all the "spongers" of the world- you are kooks (Mitchell M.-that means you). This is the only legit reason to ride a boogie board.
