POLES 4TH OF JULY REPORT: Happy 4th! Still flat out there this morning. It's under knee high and breaking right on shore. Not much hope for surf today but it is going to be a awesome day out! (minus surf) The good news is that we may finally have some ridable ESE surf coming our way for next week. Check back for more details as they develop. REMEMBER CLEAN JAX PIER DAY! This Sunday July 5th SurfJaxPier and Volcom are hosting CleanJaxPier on the south side of the pier. POLES UPDATE (FRIDAY MID-DAY) Nice day to hit the beach with the family. Not much happening in the way of surf this afternoon. Knee high peelers breaking right on the beach. Break out the grill, grab some cold ones and enjoy the holiday weekend. Hopefully the weather holds up. Be sure to check back tomorrow for the early morning Poles report.

POLES SURF REPORT (FRIDAY MORNING) Surf is not really rideable at first check this morning. Shin high or less with a light offshore breeze at report time. There is one guy out early but looks like he is just doing some paddling excercises and not catching any waves. Looks like it is going to be another hot and flat summer day. POLES PM UPDATE: Small and flat this afternoon. Not too much to report on except the lack of surf. It would be so much fun if it was just 6 feet instead of 6 inches. POLES SURF REPORT (THURSDAY MORNING) Pretty much the same thing we have been seeing all week. Looks to be about shin high or less. Wave shape is not as clean this morning with a little bit of south wind in the mix at report time.  Looks like we still have some slightly larger knee? high sets sneaking through on occasion that might push a longboard or grom. Check back for the afternoon poles update hopefully things change with the tide.

POLES UPDATE (WEDNESDAY MID-DAY) Yet another hot day with minimal surf this afternoon. Just coming off of low tide and we have rare knee high sets on occasion. Really small and breaking right on the beach. Maybe we will see a little more size this afternoon with the incoming tide push. A few kids cooling off with the boogie boards but other than signs of life are minimal up here right now. Hopefully something will come along to take us out of this flat spell soon.

POLES SURF REPORT (WEDNESDAY MORNING) Knee high or less with a light offshore wind at report time. What minimal swell we have looks to be a little more angled out of the south this morning. Tide is outgoing with dead low tide around 10:30 this morning. Looks very similar to the last few mornings. Maybe a knee high longboard set pushing through on occassion but pretty tiny for the most part. Hopefully July will be a little better to us than the end of June was.

POLES PM UPDATE: Still small out there this afternoon. There is one guy out on a longboard giving it a go but not having too much luck. It's breaking really close to shore but it does have good shape. Just no size to it. Be sure to support our report sponsors.
