POLES UPDATE: Not much change this afternoon. Offshore wind and flow with small scale, shin high or less, surf. Not looking too great for surfing. Nice sunny day for the beach, a little cool with the winds, but still a nice day to come out and enjoy the weather. Next report tomorrow morning. Look for a pulse of swell to fill in mid-week and take us into the weekend. Little early to tell but right now it looks like this new swell may have some high potential for fun surf... so get ready just in case things line up. We'll keep you posted!

AM POLES REPORT: Knee high or less surf with an offshore wind at first check this morning. Looking very similar to yesterday at report time. No one out and it doesn't look rideable at the current report time. Not expecting much change today, however later this week is looking very promising. Stay tuned.

POLES SATURDAY AM REPORT: Waves are looking fun at report time this morning. It's in the waist to stomach high range with really good shape. The wind is offshore and is expected to pick up throughout the day so I'd get on it soon if you can. Not too many people were out at the Poles but most of the normal spots should be on right now so go find one!

POLES UPDATE: Just coming off of low tide and we have dropping surf in the thigh to waist high plus range. It's cleaned up quite a bit since this morning although the sets are becoming a little less consistent. Still some fun ones coming through if you are itching to surf and can make it out before it's gone.

AM POLES REPORT: Hard-angled shorter period wind swell out of the SE this morning. A little disorganized at first check with a light north wind on it early. Looks to be about waist high with some solid chest high plus sets out the back. There were plenty of workable sections just have to be a little more selective. Pretty steady S to N current so get ready to paddle. You will def. want to keep your eye on the winds today. We have another front moving through and the winds have potential to be offshore at some point during the day... This swell will probably not last long if the wind goes offshore so I would get on it quick.. Overall it's worth a check at your favorite spot and tide today.. and keep an eye on those near shore winds. Check back for an update shortly.

POLES THURSDAY PM REPORT: Small choppy surf coming in this afternoon at the Poles. It's in the waist high range but so disorganized that it really wasn't looking very appealing at all. Strong south current is sweeping up the beach so hopefully it will just keep blowing and we'll see some size increase as the day goes on. Check back for the AM report to see if conditions have improved.

AM POLES REPORT: Surf has come up a bit as expected. Nothing too great at report time, knee high plus onshore wind-slop with a dropping tide at first check. Looks like winds are expected to be out of the S/SE throughout the day. Short period swell is supposed to fill in a bit more later. I would be sure to keep your eyes on the flags.. The wind could swing more SW as this front moves past us and things may clean up for a small window of surf later today...provided a little more size moves in.. No promises but something to keep an eye on.
