Friday Mid-day Update: Looking fun out there. Light ENE wind and low tide. Poles is doing it's thing.. Waist high plus sets.. Really nice form.. Not epic or anything but nice shape and worth a surf for sure. Check it if you can. Not sure how long this will last

Friday Morning: Swell has dropped off a bit over night. Looks to be about knee high with thigh high plus sets at first check. Pretty clean with a light North wind at report time, form is looking a little weak probably has to do with the tides. Maybe we will see it take on a little more shape as the tide continues to drop out. One guy out early on a long board making the best of it.

Thursday Mid-day Poles Update: Coming off of low tide and we have some fun, chunky waist/chest high sets with decent form. A little chop on it with a SE wind at report time.. But still plenty of fun ones out there. Outside is working a little better right now. All in all it is worth a surf if you can make it up this way. We should see it hold up through the afternoon, winds are predicted to die down a bit and clock more south late in the day.

Friday Morning: Waist high plus with a light wind out of the NE early. Much better form this morning and plenty of size left over. A little bumpy and and on the slightly mushy side but still sets are looking pretty fun. Hopefully we will see it straighten out even more as the tide continues to drop through the morning. Check back for a late morning update.

Wednesday Morning Poles Report: Waist high plus with ok form at report time. A little wind blown with an early on-shore but the sets are chunky and seem to be holding some form at report time. Bigger than yesterday at this time, winds are supposed to be on-shore throughout the day but could lay down a bit late this afternoon.. It will be worth a check late morning at a good incoming to high tide spot. Keep your eye on the flags.

Tuesday Morning Poles Report: Thigh high with slightly larger sets on occassion. Looks a little weak and real mushy with an onshore wind at report time. Nothing great at the moment but ok and rideable if you are itching to paddle.. We may see some improvement this afternoon as the tide comes in. We will have swell all week.. Stay alert as things change from minute to minute.. Watch the flags and the tides.. and keep checking back.

Monday Morning Poles Report: Building swell out of the NE..Right now it looks to be about knee to thigh high plus with poor disorganized form. Keep checking back as this new swell event continues to develop. It might be worth a check mid-day with the incoming tide push.

Sunday Morning: Knee high plus NE wind swell at The Poles this morning. Pretty small with poor form at first check. Showing the first signs of our new Nor'east swell event. Hopefully we will see it continue to build over the next 24 hours. It may be worth a check with the tide push later in the morning.
