Poles Report

Tuesday Late Morning: Better form than this morning as we approach low tide.. A little on the small/weak side but sets are still thigh/waist and workable. Breaking a little mushy so you may want to consider a floatier board. Light onshore breeze at report time.. Nothing too great but still fun if you just want to get out and cool off.

Tuesday Morning: Still have some solid waist high sets hanging around. The tide is a little off right now... Set waves are closing out on the inside sand bar. Judging from the last few days, we should see it improve as the tide changes up through late morning. First few pics were one of the better formed sets most of them were really dumpy. Check back for a late morning report.

Monday Mid-day: We have fun waist to rib high sets. Outside sand bars are starting to work as we approach low tide. Light NE wind putting a little texture on it but still have nice clean shape. Breaking a little soft, more of a fish or longboard wave but still worth a surf if you can make it out..

Monday Morning: Solid waist high plus sets rolling through, clean with good form. Dropped off a little since yesterady at this time but still plenty of fun clean sets rolling through at report time. Coming up on high tide, if the wind holds like it did yesterday morning we should have pretty fun surf through late morning. 

Sunday Morning: Really fun looking chest to shoulder surf this morning. Light west wind at report time and dead high tide. Some of the smaller sets are holding back and closing out on the inside.. Bigger sets are lining up nice on the outside and breaking all the way through with racy little inside sections. Go surf.. Looks like we should see sizeable surf with offshore winds all day.. Enjoy!

Saturday Morning: Still some leftovers out there.. Dropped quite a bit in size and is far less consistent than it has been the last couple of days. Pic 1 is a freak set... These were rolling through about every 10-15 minutes or so.. In between they it was thigh/waist and holding back with the high tide. Still worth a check.. It looks like we may have a good pulse of swell on tap for tomorrow morning as well so stay tuned for that.

FRIDAY AM: Calm winds with some fun surf out there this morning. Waist to chest with some head high sets. Still a little full from the early morning high tide, but overall looking really fun right now. GO SURF!! We now have Tropical Storm Kyle which is moving NNW with max sus winds at 60mph plus there are a few other non-tropical areas of interest out there in the Atlantic right now for next week. Stay tuned!

THURS AM: WE HAVE SEMI-GLASSY CHEST TO HEAD HIGH + SURF THIS MORNING. THE WIND HAS BACKED OFF AND IT'S MORE OUT OF THE NORTHWEST MAKING SOME PRETTY CLEAN CONDITIONS...LOW TIDE IS 11:32 AM...
