Monday morning and we have continued heavy Nor'easter conditions.. Outside sets are well overhead.. Right now it is a wind blown mess. Rainy and overcast at the beach with gusty winds out of the Northeast.. Get some work done and keep your eye on the near shore wind predicitons.. It looks like it may back off on Wednesday. If you feel like charging now get ready to paddle, looks like there are plenty of makeable sets just real wind blown and junky.

Chest high plus, disorganized wind slop.. We should see continued building Nor'Easter conditions over the next few days.. If and when the wind slacks off a bit we should have fun surf. Still a bunch of dead fish scattered on the beach.. but less hacking and burning eyes so hopefully the red tide is letting up.

Thigh to waist high with decent form.. Wind has switched and still a little swell in the water. Looks fun for a longboard or fish. Plenty of small waves to go around.. Might want to wear your bio-hazard mask if you head this way.. Red tide is in full effect.. Eyes watering and coughing uncontrollably while I took these pics.. sorry if they are a little out of focus.

Thigh to waist high and mush

Low tide afternoon update for the Poles.. Still have some waist high sets breaking on the outside sandbar.. Pretty weak and mushy but still some workable peaks... Might want to consider a fish or longboard..I paddled out at 1:00 and swapped some peaks with 1 other guy, when I got out there were at least 15 on it. Nothing great... but low tide working a little better for the Poles the last couple of days.. Maybe we'll see a little something this evening with the incoming push as well.. Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday..

COMMENTS:
Continued onshore wind slop conditions.. A little bigger than yesterday morning at this time. Thigh/waist high but real mushy, breaking weak with the full tide right now.. We could see improvement late morning/ mid-day depending on what the wind does.. It got fun yesterday at around lunch time after the rain storm.. But the wind picked up again and it was gone. Nothing great right now, but It's worth a check if you have nothing else going on.
FURTHER OUT:
Alot of activity in the forecast.. Possibility of a sizeable ENE wind swell filling in this weekend.. Also TS Karen is making a track for our window... Get ready... Had alot of highly productive Octobers growing up in Florida, hopefully this will be another one for the archive.
CURRENT CONDITIONS:
WIND: ENE 8 kts.
TIDES: H 8:09 AM | L 2:30 PM

Tuesday Mid-day update for The Poles..

Tue Sep 25, 2007 at 11:58AM
| Time: | 11:58 AM | Cond: | Semi-Choppy |
|
| Surf: | 2-3ft | Crowd: | ||
| Wind: | Tides: |
Picked up a little since this morning.. Approaching dead low tide and we have more consistent waist high slop.. Wind is clocking a little more easterly at the moment so there is a little more shape than this morning. Still blown out for the most part but def. rideable and worthy of a check if you are wanting to paddle..
