POLES UPDATE (FRIDAY 1PM) The surf has picked up this afternoon. Knee to maybe thigh high wind slop out of the SE. Small and disorganized at report time, not looking very surfable out there. It may be worth a check at the pier or another high tide spot as the tide fills in. Thunderheads are moving in.. Looks like it was getting ready to start dumping.

POLES REPORT (FRIDAY 7AM) Knee high or less at report time. There may be a slightly larger set sneaking through on occasion. It looks like the buoys are showing a slight bump up of short period swell but not really seeing anything here this morning. maybe it will improve with the tides be sure to check back this afternoon when the tide starts to turn.

POLES PM REPORT: Nothing ridable coming in at report time. We still have a bit till high tide (4:50) so we should see some improvement over the next couple of hours. I wouldn't expect too much but hey it's summer and it's not completely flat. SPONSOR NEWS: Yup, it's that time again. SurfJaxPier NIGHT Presents: ARTSY FARTSY NIGHT @ LANDSHARK! POLES REPORT (THURSDAY 7AM) Knee high with a light south wind and dropping tide at report time. Looks similar to the last few days.. Just about flat and not look too rideable this morning. Hoping to wake up to at least a small bump out of the ESE this morning but that doesn't appear to be the case. Be sure to check back for the afternoon poles report things could change.

POLES UPDATE (WEDNESDAY 1PM) Coming up on dead high tide and we have a nice sea breeze kicking up this afternoon. Surf is pretty mushed out and not looking too great this at report time. Hopefully we'll see it start to build over night with all of this wind. Be sure to check back tomorrow morning.

POLES REPORT (WEDNESDAY 7:00AM) Surf looks alot like the last couple of mornings. Approaching low tide and we have knee high plus sets breaking onshore. Maybe a small longboardable wave on occasion. Overall it looks pretty small and weak so get some work done and check back later. Next report for the Poles will be around lunchtime, maybe we will see a little improvement with the incoming tide push. It still looks like we have a chance for a slight bump up tomorrow so get ready for that.

POLES PM REPORT: Not looking too good this afternoon at the Poles. It's maybe in the knee to thigh high range but just not really doing it. There were a couple of guys out on the north side of the poles giving it a try but not catching much. Could be some hope for a little windswell this weekend so stay tuned! POLES REPORT (TUESDAY 7:00AM) Coming up on dead low tide within the hour and it looks very similar to yesterday morning maybe just a little smaller and less consistent. No one out at report time but the sets look like they still might be able to push a longboard or a grom, that is pushing it. Really looking small and weak this morning overall. It looks like this may be the last of it and what leftovers we have had are supposed to fade a bit more today. Now for the good news, it looks like good potential for building swell out of the ESE for Thurs and Friday (what's up with all these swells showing up on Thursday/Friday of the week this year?) and keeping us rideable throughout the weekend. Be sure to check back as that develops
