Poles Surf Report

Looks very similar to yesterday at this time.. Side shore wind is a little more of a factor this morning. Still some knee/thigh sets.. Really small overall, more of a long board wave but sets are still rideable. It will probably do the same as yesterday and take on a little more form and shape up through the lower tide.. Keep your eye on that new system to the south of us.. It looks like that may be bringing significant swell our way for the end of the week into next weekend...Still a little early to tell... Getting to be that time of year to keep an eye on the tropics!

Clean thigh high wave still hanging around.. Look ok for the longboard on sets. Still a little on the small side but at least it's rideable. Waves are holding back right now with the tide, maybe they will start breaking a little better towards low tide. Looks like a good day to bring the family to the beach.

Swell looks a little bigger than it did at this time yesterday. Knee high with a mushy thigh high set on occassion that looks longboardable. Light wind out of the ENE at report time. May be worth a check at a good incoming to high tide spot. Still on the small side though.

Swell is almost gone.. Looks to be about knee high maybe a rare plus set. The sets are just barely longboardable. Still a little bit of minimal leftovers but this is the last we will see of this swell. Looking at the forecast models it looks like we should expect pretty small/flat surf over the next couple of days with hopes of a small pulse filling in on Sunday.. Things can always change so keep checking the site.

A little smaller than yesterday but still have plenty of rideable swell hanging around.. Looks to be about thigh/waist on sets and alot cleaner than it has been the past few days with calm wind conditions. Nothing great and a little inconsistent, but still some clean little longboard/fishy sets if you are into it.

waist/rib high on sets with ok form.. Onshore wind mushing things out and putting a little chop on it.. Larger sets are holding up and look pretty workable. Nothing too great, but it's rideable and worth a surf if you can make it out this way.

Still some ridable surf coming in this morning. It's in the waist to chest high range but still has some definate morning sickness to it. Looks like it will stay in ridable range all day today so enjoy the holiday and go surf!

We finally have some ridable surf in NE FL. It is in the waist high range at report time but look for building conditions as the day goes on. Winds are already in the 10 to 15 mph range so the Poles are your best bet.
