POLES SURF REPORT (FRIDAY MORNING) Small and marginally rideable SE dribble leftovers. It has dropped a little more. Sets look to the about knee to thigh high with continued weak and mushy conditions. In between sets it is breaking right on the beach. Not looking too great right now.. It should still be rideable at the right tide and spot just a little smaller this morning.

POLES UPDATE (THURSDAY MID-DAY) Another nice warm and sunny spring day. We still have some leftover sets in the thigh high range. The swell is fading and sets are less consistent. Approaching high tide and it looks like there is still a little shore pound to play around, nothing great...but rideable with the right equipment. Maybe a nice day to break out the longboard for a little fun. Water feels great.

POLES SURF REPORT (THURSDAY MORNING) Swell has dropped off a bit but there is still some solid waist high sets coming through this morning. Wind is pretty calm right now so things look alot more organized this morning than it has been. Looks to be about thigh high in between the waist high sets and the sets are kind of spread out but they look pretty fun when they come through. A little on the mushy side. The sand bars are working a little better right now with dead low tide conditions. Nothing too great but worth a check if you can get away. It looks like we should have some minimal SE leftovers over the next couple of days so things should at least stay in the rideable range for a couple more days.

POLES UPDATE (WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON) Waist high with onshore and mushy conditions this afternoon. Still some nice peaks coming through with mushy lines, saw a few guys with short boards having trouble catching the sets. Nice sunny afternoon worth a check if you have the day off. It may be worth a check this evening as we approach low tide if the winds die down a bit. This swell looks like it is fading fast, not sure how much longer it will last.

POLES SURF REPORT (WEDNESDAY MORNING) Waist high with onshore/mushy conditions at report time. Similar to the last few days maybe a a little less wind this morning. There are still some decent size sets coming in on occassion. Strong south to north current.

POLES SURF REPORT (TUESDAY MORNING) Coming off of low tide and we have waist to chest high SE swell with onshore conditions. Wave is mushy and choppy with a pretty decent south to north drift. It looks like it has a little more form than yesterday at this time and some of the sets look workable. Nothing great, but worth a check if you have the day off or just want to get out. We have substantial SE swell in the water now all we need is the wind to back off a little bit. Keep your eye on the flags, looks like we could have light wind for tomorrow morning with low tide conditions around sunrise so that might be a good call.

POLES UPDATE (MONDAY MID-DAY) Waist high disorganized/sloppy conditions with a pretty stiff onshore wind on it as we come off of high tide. Keep you eye on the flags. Still some workable sets but pretty disorganized for the most part. Nice sunny and warm day so come out and enjoy the surf if you can make it out... Form is not great but at least there is surf so come out and make the most of it.

POLES SURF REPORT (MONDAY MORNING) Waist high plus with choppy poor conditions. Swell is hard-angled out of the SE and we have a pretty decent SE wind on it early. Maybe we will see things straighten out as the tide fills in a little more.
