Poles Report

POLES UPDATE (TUESDAY MID-DAY) Knee high and breaking right on the beach this afternoon. Looks like the sky is about to open up.. Dark and over cast with a gusty wind out of the SE at report time. Next report tomorrow morning.

POLES SURF REPORT (TUESDAY MORNING) Shin to knee high with a light onshore wind at report time. Not looking too great.. Another nice cool morning. Looks like there may be a blip in the forecast radar for tomorrow and Friday.. Nothing significant but maybe take us a little ride-able.

POLES UPDATE (MONDAY AFTERNOON) Surf is looking a little better this afternoon. Still pretty small in the shin high or less range with a knee high set sneaking through on occasion. Onshore breeze and sunny skies. It turned out to be a great spring day to enjoy the beach...Just not much happening in the way of surf. Next report tomorrow morning.

POLES SURF REPORT (MONDAY MORNING) The swell is gone, this is the smallest it has been in a few weeks. Ankle to shin high with clean conditions this morning. Maybe there will be a small lonboardable wave at the right tide and spot today but pretty much unrideable right now here at the Poles. Chilly this morning. 

POLES SURF REPORT (SUNDAY MORNING) Things have cleaned up this morning and we still have thigh to waist high plus leftovers. Light offshore wind at report time expected to really start blowing this afternoon out of the west which will knock our swell down. Get on it early before the wind does.

POLES SURF REPORT (SATURDAY MORNING) Surf is waist high plus with weak/mushy conditions. Still some decent sized leftover sets rolling through on occasion just alot less consistent. Form is a little off right now, mid to incoming tide and it's holding back with a moderate chop from a shifty sideshore wind. Maybe we will see things firm up as we approach high tide later this morning. This looks like today may be the last of this swell so I would get on it while it is still around.

POLES UPDATE (FRIDAY LATE MORNING) Waist to chest high with decent form at high tide. Things have shaped up since this morning at first check. Not perfect, it is a little sectiony with a moderate chop and some of the sets are closing out but very workable and looks fun on sets, big drops. Looks like there is a pretty decent south to north drift.

POLES SURF REPORT (THURSDAY MORNING) Waist to chest high with poor disorganized and mushy form. The sets still have some size to them it looks like the wind and tide is just off.. Maybe we will see things straighten out as the tide fills in a little more.
