Poles Report

Wednesday Mid-day (12:00PM) Continued small scale, flat to 1 ft. conditions with an offshore wind. Unrideable at report time. Last report of 2008 so be sure to check back tomorrow morning. Hopefully we will be kicking off the new year with sizeable surf. Thanks for all of the great feedback and continued support this year.. Looking forward to 2009!

Wed Morning: Ankle to shin high, maybe knee high on occasion and glassy. Not looking too promising at report time. It still looks like we have a NE swell on the way for tomorrow morning so be sure to check back for that. 

Tuesday Poles (1:00 PM) Update: Knee high with onshore conditions. Barely rideable mush. A couple of guys just floating around out there, didn't see them get any... But I guess even that is better than working. Be sure to check back tomorrow morning for the early report.

Tuesday Morning Poles Report: Still some small scale (knee to thigh plus) swell hanging around, one guy out early making the most of it. Chilly this morning with a light North wind at report time expected to swing more easterly throughout the day. Looks like there is hope on the horizon, potential NE event to stir up some swell for new years day. That would be a nice way to start out 2009. Stay tuned for that and check back for the mid-day report, maybe we'll see that inside wedge work a little bit when the tide fills in.

Monday (11:30AM) Poles Update: Still some small leftovers with a pretty stiff offshore wind at report time. Super clean with good form, just a little on the small side. A handful of longboarder swapping the peaks. Nice sunny day to grab the small wave equipment and mess around.

Monday Morning: The swell has dropped quite a bit from yesterday. Thigh high and glassy with a light offshore wind at report time. There looks like there may be some slightly larger sets on occassion still trying to sneak through. We may see it bump up a bit as the tide fills in and changes..  Check back for the late morning report. Right now still could be fun for a grom or if you have the right equipment.

Sunday Morning: Waist to rib high plus. Inside looks like it is breaking fun right now as high tide approaches, a little weak on the outside. There seems to be alot more size and consistency this morning so hopefully we will see decent surf throughout the day, depending on tide and wind. 

Sat Morning Poles Report: Waist high maybe a little larger on sets with a light wind at report time. Inside is working with the higher tide and light winds. Worth a check. Looks like we have cont. swell over the next few days, building a bit for tomorrow morning. Keep your eye on the flags and check your favorite tides/spots.. Plenty of waist plus surf all weekend.
