Friday Morning 10/31: Happy Halloween everybody... As expected we have a new swell building out of the NE. Looks to be about waist high plus at report time with disorganized, choppy conditions. It is not entirely blown out.. The sets seem to have a little bit of shape to them if you are looking to surf.. The wind switch seemed to have brought us a little warmer air temp which is nice after the record cold snap we had in the last few days. It looks like this new swell will continue to build all the way through Monday, and if we are lucky we could see some really fun clean up swell on the backend of the system on Tuesday.. We will keep you updated on The Poles as this new event unfolds.

Wednesday morning: Continued small scale (knee high plus) surf this morning with a light offshore wind and clean conditions. There is one guy out there trying to make the best of it. Maybe a slightly larger (thigh high) rideable set on occasion but really on the small side.. Looks like we still have NE swell on tap to start building Friday and take us back into the sizeable zone for the weekend. Get ready for that.

Tuesday Mid-day: Coming up on low tide.. We have clean offshore conditions in the knee to thigh range. Breaking really weak.. Some of the sets might push a longboard but pretty small for the most part and no one out.. If it was only 2 or 3 ft. bigger it would be really fun.. But I guess we will have to wait until later in the week for more sizeable swell.. Next update tomorrow morning at day break.

Tuesday Morning: Small and chilly leftovers. Looks about thigh high on sets with good form. Not looking too great this morning. May be able to push a grom or a longboard at the right tide. Looking further out, it looks like we have a new pulse of NE wind swell on tap for Fri/Sat, stay tuned for that.

Monday Mid-Day: Super clean but weak knee to thigh leftovers. Continuous west wind is blowing it flat. It may be able to push a longboard or a grom but really small and weak right now. Beautiful day, no one out at report time.

Sunday Morning: Swell has dropped overnight. Looks to be about waist/rib high on the sets with good form early. High tide and holding back a little at report time. We should see it straigten out and start working on the outside sandbars when the tide switches. Still worth a check. Best bet will be mid-day with the lower tide and hopefully NW winds. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
