Poles Surf Report

Chest to head high, with the occassional plus set out back. Gusty wind with a little more north in it this morning. Still pretty messy out there but some of the bigger rights are lining up, just real peaky with weak shoulders and short rides if you make the drop. Plenty of bigger make-able surf out there if you are up to charge.

Best it's looked in the past few days.. Cleaned up alot.. Some big chunky sets on the outside.. Still just a little too much wind on it but plenty of textured, but workable set waves on the outside and some fun looking chest high dumpers on the inside. Not epic, but worth a surf if you have the afternoon off.

Continued head high choppy surf.. Wind is a little more easterly at report time and not blowing quite as hard as the last few mornings.. It looks like there were a few waves taking some shape.. But still junky and blown out for the most part.

Same big, wind blown conditions this AM.. A little more shape to it than at this time yesterday..but still pretty blown out. Expect big choppy surf with a NE wind for the next few days.. Keep your eyes on the flags and Noel..

Surf is blown out this morning.. Hard to guess on size but some of the outside peaks look about head high plus.. A mess out here right now with strong, gusty winds out of the NE and rainy conditions.. Probably a good morning to stay in and get some work done.. Expect similar conditions throughout the next few days. Happy Monday

Big and choppy at the Poles with a gusty NE wind on it early.. Some of the bigger sets on the outside are workable, just bumpy. Looks like the swell will continue to build into the head high plus range over the next few days with sustained NE winds over the next few days.. Get ready to paddle.

Sorry for the later report.. Rain finally let up. Waist high plus at high tide with a north wind, inside is really pitching right now and real top to bottom.. Solid waist plus on the sets.. Saw some outside sets trying to break but just too much water with the full tide.. It looks like a fun little dumpy inside wave for a short board right now. Outside should be fun mid-day depending on what the wind does.. Worth a surf for sure today. Pics below

Looking kind of fun with waist/rib high sets on the outside, the rights are working with the side shore wind right now...Wind is starting to switch a little more north right now and expected to be NE as we approach low tide... Not sure how long it will hold up.. But worth a check if you are out this way.. Should be rideable all day and build through the weekend.. Might want to put on a topper.. a little chilly out here..
