THURS PM: Still semi-clean this afternoon with some ridable ESE backgroundswell in the water. Knee to thigh high with mushy conditions. Nothing epic, it is ridable. Looks like we will continue to see marginally ridable ESE backgroundswell through tomorrow, then a slight drop off expected over the weekend. TROPICS: Gustav is still at TS status, but is expected to strengthen over the next few days as it enters the Gulf. Further out, we may have another ESE swell producer for early next week. A lot going on in the tropics, stay tuned.
